1) CLASS ACT: a workshop for teachers from 17th to 20th April 2012.

1) CLASS ACT
Sethu Centre is organizing CLASS ACT, a workshop for teachers from 17th to 20th April 2012. This workshop will give teachers the ‘know how’ they need to deal with behavior and learning difficulties in the classroom .
Topics Covered: Learning difficulties, Methods to promote learning of reading, Maths and English Discipline in the classroom.
The program is an interactive process, including group discussions, lectures and practical exercises. The workshop will be held at Panaji.
Registrations are open at Sethu Centre, Aleluia Menezes Bldg #3, Altinho, Panaji. For further information, contact the SETHU office on 6513749. The last date for registrations is 10th April.
2) Gnyandeep 2012
Sethu Centre [http://sethu.in ], is conducting Gnyandeep 2012, a 6 month part time training program for preschool teachers. Course runs from June 2012 – December 2012 [from 2pm-5pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays].
The course covers topics such as Child Development, Curriculum and Special Needs. The maximum intake for this program is only 20 teachers.
