Sethu Centre for Child Development and Family Guidance presents a workshop on Sexuality, Safety and Your Child on 9th February at Panjim.
In the last few weeks, there has been an increase in the reporting of sexual crimes against children. This has created a lot of anxiety in the minds of parents. Though sexuality is a natural, normal part of being a whole person, many parents are confused about what, how and how much to tell their children. Welcome to the program that gives parents information and guidance to deal with this vital aspect of their child’s development and safety.
The half-day workshop will cover development of sexuality in children, normal and worrying sexual behaviors and how to teach children to keep themselves safe. The entire session is conducted using an interactive process with group sharing, role-play and plenty of humor.
Venue: Menezes Hospital, Altinho, Panaji
Date & Time: 9th February 2013 from 9.30 am to 12:30 pm
Fees Rs. 500/- per person.
The facilitator for the program will be Dr. Nandita de Souza, a developmental and behavioral pediatrician (and a parent herself!).
